Lambing :
Our main lambing time is May to June each year, with our lambs weaned for the spring pastures.
80% of our lambs are pure merino, and the other 20% are pure merino crossed with a White Suffolk Leahcim ram.
All of our merino ewes are the progeny of top quality Leahcim or Kelvale Merino rams.
Animal Health :
All lambs are vaccinated at Marking with 6 in 1 + B12 and Selenium.
They are given their second vaccination of 6 in 1 + B12 at Weaning.
Sales :
Lambs are normally sold from November to January each year.
Cattle :
We also have a small herd of beef cattle. They are mixed beef breeds crossed with a Black Simmental or Murray Gray Bull.
Our calves are generally available for sale in December
Highland Cattle :
We now have a very small herd of Highland Cattle, consisting of 7 animals currently.
We have registered with the Australian Highland Cattle Society as “Clover Ridge” Fold. All of our animals are pedigree animals registered with the society. We are lucky enough to have recently purchased the award winning bull “Caleb of Amrabull Park”
We will only be selling steer calves for now but please watch this space as we may have breeding stock for sale in the future. To sell to others interested in this magnificent breed.
